Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Keep Their Distance at ‘The Place Beyond The Pines’ Premiere 

 

Although they have been dating for over a year, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes really only made their public debut Thursday night in New York City … and it wasn't by choice.

The gorgeous couple stepped out for the premiere of their new film "The Place Beyond the Pines," but don't be fooled by their adorable red carpet photos. It was almost impossible to get the two lovebirds to pose alone!
Although Mendes, 39, and Gosling, 32, are staying together in New York City, the couple arrived separately to the premiere and kept each other at arms length for most of the red carpet. Once inside the theater, the on and off screen couple was seated together with family and friends, but there was no PDA. Unfortunately for onlookers, the beautiful couple actually practices what they preach in wanting to keep their private life private.
Even at the afterparty, sources tell omg! that Mendes and Gosling "didn't interact too much."
"They knew all eyes were on them and wanted to keep the night about celebrating the movie, not their relationship," a source says.
The couple had a table together inside the SVEDKA-sponsored bash at the Bowery Hotel, although they opted to keep conversations moving with other people rather than one another. We're told the couple appeared to be in "great spirits" mingling with costars separately (although Bradley Cooper held court across the room). Even though Mendes didn't cozy up to Gosling, she did have another member of his family on her arm: his mom!
Just because these two weren't making out in public, don't take that to mean there is trouble in paradise (sorry ladies!).

Chris Brown and Rihanna Are Still Together, Despite Reports 

 

 Chris Brown and Rihanna are over again? Not so fast.

While some reports say that Brown denied dating the "We Found Love" singer on Friday, it sounds like the two are still very much together.
Stories of the supposed split began circulating when Los Angeles radio station Power 106 tweeted a juicy message about Brown's interview with the show "Big Boy's Neighborhood." Breezy was in the hot seat to promote his new single, "Fine China," which comes out Monday.
However, the video of the chat between 23-year-old Brown and radio host Big Boy shows Brown referring to Rihanna often, and even using the word "we."
When Brown was asked about whether he and RiRi would collaborate on any tunes for his upcoming album that's expected later this year, Brown said there are plans for both of them to appear on both of their future projects. He also laughed it off when Big Boy joked that the two couldn't finish recording together because they "are doing it too much in the studio."
The "Don't Wake Me Up" singer's response to the question of when he'd last seen Rihanna, who began her "Diamonds" tour earlier this month, was straightforward.
"Man, it's been a minute, though, because I haven't had a chance to go out there on the tour yet, because I've been working," Brown explained. "But I [saw] her right before she went out."
The only time he came close to saying that he and Rihanna are not together was when Big Boy replayed a portion of a previous Brown appearance on the show, where Brown said he was not dating Rihanna and it turned out that he really was in a relationship with her.
Brown also didn't sound like a single man on Tuesday when he appeared on Ryan Seacrest's L.A.-based morning show, where he raved about his on-again, off-again girlfriend's ability to forgive him after he assaulted her in 2009.
"I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident," Brown said. "And that time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has and she's a wonderful person I'm eternally grateful and thankful."

Tyga Resurrects Tupac Vocals On 'Hit 'Em Up'

T-Raw says his version of 'Hit 'Em Up' isn't a dis track, but he's 'lettin' it be known' who he doesn't 'rock with.' 

There isn't a single song on Tyga's upcoming Hotel California that sparks more curiosity than "Hit 'Em Up." Not only does the selection borrow its name from Tupac's scathing 1996 dis track, but 'Pac is also featured on the unheard track, leading many to believe that T-Raw went in and remade the battle-tested classic.
"A lot of people think it's a remake of 'Hit 'Em Up,' his song — which it's not a remake, it's original," Tyga told MTV News when we visited the set of his "Molly" video in Los Angeles last week.
The original "Hit 'Em Up" was a jaw-dropping, rap assault on the Notorious B.I.G., where 'Pac alleged to have slept with Biggie's wife and made rhythmic threats on his life. To this day, rappers still follow 'Pac's beef blueprint, but Tyga stops short of labeling his version a dis record — sort of. "When you're talking about 'Hit 'Em Up' you ain't really dissing nobody, but you lettin' it be known that you don't rock with certain people," he explained confirming that the track will have some sort of contention.
Tyga's "Hit 'Em Up" features Jadakiss as well, as a posthumous Tupac performance, but originally the Young Money MC envisioned another collaborator. "I wanted Nicki to be on the song at first and then we never did it, so then I went back to the song later," he revealed.
Once Tyga fleshed out the track some more, he decided to go with the veteran New York lyricist Jadakiss, who coincidentally was signed to Diddy's Bad Boy record label in the 1990s during the tail end of the Biggie and 'Pac feud.
"I sent it to Jadakiss and after that I was done with the song and then I had came across some 'Pac vocals from a friend," Tyga continued, detailing the process on how his song came together. "I was like, 'Man this would be dope,' but I didn't really know how to use it properly."
Tyga eventually figured out how to incorporate the Shakur sample, but wouldn't reveal exactly how he did it, leaving us to have to wait until April 9 when Hotel California is released. "When people hear it they're gonna think it's real clever and they're gonna really respect it," he promised.

Kim Zolciak Makes Peace With NeNe Leakes: ‘I Look Forward’ to Her Wedding 

 

 NeNe Leakes is all about second chances, when it comes to her friend-turned-enemy, Kim Zolciak.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is set to re-marry her ex-husband, Gregg, and she may have an unexpected guest in attendance -- her reality show nemesis.
In a new interview with In Touch magazine, the "New Normal" actress reveals that she and Zolciak buried the hatched during the recent taping of the Season 5 reunion special, which will air in three installments on Bravo beginning April 7.

 "[Kim's] invited to my wedding, and I believe she'll come," says Leakes, 45. "I'm extending an olive branch."
And Zolciak is accepting it. "I have always been and I continue to be happy for NeNe, and I look forward to being invited to the wedding," she also tells In Touch. "NeNe and I started this journey together and although we have had our ups and downs, I am excited to get our friendship back on track ... We were friends long before 'RHOA,' and we will be friends long after 'RHOA' if it's up to me."

Although the two were often shown palling around town, things soured for the comedic duo by the Season 1 reunion special when Leakes infamously scolded Zolciak to "close your legs to married men." (Other gems Leakes has hurled at her over the years include calling Zolciak a "trashbox" and "dirty, low-down monkey with a wig.")
During filming for Season 2 in 2009, Zolciak actually called 911 after she claimed Leakes attempted to "choke" her. Then all hell broke loose in Season 3 when Leakes and Zolciak got into a screaming match on a tour bus and the two both had to be physically restrained.
After an argument with all of the Atlanta Housewives this season, Zolciak abruptly quit … and then landed her own spin-off, "Don't Be Tardy," Season 2 of which premieres on Bravo April 16.

Chris Brown: I Was ‘Arrogant and Hotheaded’ at the Time of the Rihanna ‘Incident’

  

Chris Brown continues his media tour for his upcoming album X, so, naturally, his relationship with on-again girlfriend Rihanna is getting brought up (since, you know, they are back together after he beat her in 2009).

“I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident," Brown said on KIIS FM's "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" on Tuesday. "That time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has [forgiven me] and she’s a wonderful person, I’m eternally grateful and thankful.”
The "Don't Wake Me Up" singer added they are in a better place now.

“It’s still like we’re kids," the 23-year-old continued. "I try not to be too grown and be like, ‘Lets have candlelight dinner every night.’ I try to make sure everything is fun. It has to be fun and it has to be genuine.”
So, regarding that "incident" four years ago with the "Diamonds" singer, Seacrest asked Brown if youth was to blame.
“I could put that on my age, but that would just be making an excuse," he replied. "I think for me that at age 18, 19, I was capable of writing and producing songs, so I’m also capable of making the right choices. So I think it’s about a learning process now. Being at that young age, I can tell you I was arrogant and definitely hotheaded. Everybody has a temper, but for me it was not knowing how to control it when I thought I had the world in my hands.”
In case you don't keep up with Brown, his temper hasn't exactly gone away. Just ask Drake, Frank Ocean, or the valet guy at Pinz bowling alley in Studio City, California.
Earlier this month there was video of Brown screaming at a parking attendant for overcharging him.
“Okay, so I can elaborate on the situation," Brown explained to Seacrest. "By all means, I’m a great tipper. Ten dollars is not a problem … [it] was five dollar parking at the place … but before we went in, I gave the man $100 dollars. We had two cars. It’s five dollar parking. Okay, do the math. So when we came out he was like, ‘You know what? We need $20 for each car.’ And I said, ‘Sir, I just gave you $100.’ So he was like, ‘No, no we need $10.’ So he was just going around trying to see if he could get more money and I was like, ‘no,’ so by that time it was a situation.”

Justin Bieber Gets Into Alleged Altercation Upon Arrival Back Home in L.A. 

 

Justin Bieber may have only just returned to the U.S., but he's already found himself in some big trouble!

The Biebs is being investigated for battery, after a neighbor says Bieber made physical contact with him and threatened him.
L.A. County Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore confirmed  that an incident happened this morning at Bieber’s home in Calabasas, California.
Whitmore explains that at about 9:08 a.m. the LA County Sheriff’s Department responded to a (non-911) call.
The accuser - confirmed to be a neighbor of Bieber's - told deputies that Bieber made physical contact with him. The accuser also claims that Bieber threatened him. He made allegations of a battery and some threats.
Sources in the neighborhood tell "omg! Insider" that it was actually Bieber's car that caused the incident. Bieber got his car back this a.m. and the car was loud and he was driving super fast and it ticked off the neighbor. According to the source there was no physical contact, just aggressive words.
The cops are no longer at Bieber’s home and the incident is under investigation.
Bieber is currently on a short break from his European tour. His next concert is scheduled for this Saturday, March 30, in Vienna, Austria.

Kim Kardashian has been bullied mercilessly for her pregnancy weight gain -- some bloggers compared to her to Shamu earlier this month, and Donald Trump told Howard Stern she had a "fat ass" -- but at least one person thinks her curvier-than-ever figure is beautiful as is. The 32-year-old reality star told E! News this week that boyfriend Kanye West "loves" her new body, and he's helping her to learn to love it, too.

"It's just such an exciting thing, I think, for the guys to see our bodies go through all these different changes," she explained. "He loves it and just embraces it. And he's helped me to really feel sexy and embrace it."
Indeed, as the April 1 issue of Us Weekly reveals, the rapper is totally on board with his girlfriend's curves. "Kanye thinks Kim is gorgeous," a source told Us. "He just wants her to be happy in her own skin."

Easier said than done, but she's getting there. Though a pal told Us the first-time mom-to-be "doesn't like being called fat" -- and who does? -- another close source said she's "finally accepting her body and getting more comfortable. She doesn't feel sexy, but she feels feminine."

Kardashian herself told E! News that she's feeling better about her bump now that it's more defined. "I think it's really cute. Now that my belly has popped a little bit, you can really see it, and it's really, I think, a sexy thing," she said. "It's cute when you can figure out how to dress for it."

Gucci Mane wanted in alleged assault at Ga. club 

 

An arrest warrant was issued for Gucci Mane after a fan told police the rapper hit him in the head with a champagne bottle at a downtown Atlanta nightclub.

James Lettley, of Fort Hood, Texas, said he was in Atlanta for his birthday and heard that the rapper — whose real name is Radric Davis — was going to be at the Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge promoting a new mixtape.
Lettley, 32, said Saturday he wanted to get a picture with the rapper and was talking to a security guard when he was hit March 16.
"Once he struck me in my head, I looked at him in a state of shock and looked at him like 'why?'" Lettley said. He said he was then hit in his face by a second man and left the club.
Police said the assault appeared to be unprovoked and caused a severe gash to Lettley's head.
He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and said he had to get 10 stitches. Police said the rapper may have taken off in a white Chevrolet Tahoe.
Lyon said a warrant has been issued for aggravated assault. Calls to numbers listed for Davis were not returned Saturday. It's unclear if the rapper has an attorney.

Lindsay Lohan Trial Preview: What Can We Expect?

  

It's finally time for Lindsay Lohan to face the music.

On Monday morning, the actress will be in a Santa Monica, California, courtroom to begin her trial for three charges (lying to police, obstructing a police officer, and reckless driving) stemming from June 2012 car crash along the Pacific Coast Highway.
Although prosecutors have offered her an array of plea bargains, including rehab and house arrest, Lohan has refused them all and instead has chosen to roll the dice with her New York-based lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, whose competency was questioned by the judge the last time he was in court on her behalf March 1.
So what can she expect when she steps into court on Monday morning?
In case she has a last-minute change-of-heart and wants to cut a deal with prosecutors, there is a good chance she could before court is in session. "It is possible that the City Attorney's Office will allow her to accept that deal on Monday," Los Angeles-based criminal lawyer Elana Goldstein tells omg!. "It is also possible that she could negotiate a better deal on Monday – sometimes the best deals are struck with the jury waiting in the hallway."
But if she decides to instead go forward with the trial, she's risking a lot. Prosecutors reportedly have multiple eyewitnesses claiming Lohan was in fact behind the wheel of her rented Porsche when it crashed into an 18-wheeler. (She has said her now-former assistant Gavin Doyle was driving).

Also, her past could come back to haunt her. Lohan was involved in two prior accidents, in 2007 and 2012, in which she claimed she was not driving … when evidence later proved she was. Prosecution "could use them against her," says Goldstein. "The City Attorney has indicated that they plan to use her prior acts. The judge may not allow the City Attorney to present evidence of her prior bad acts if Lindsay chooses not to testify. It would be within the judge's discretion. Essentially, the purpose of using her prior bad acts would be to show that this is how Lindsay acts in these types of situations ... namely, getting into an accident and denying being the driver."
There’s also the possibility that the "Liz & Dick" actress will testify on her behalf to prove her innocence. But that decision could actually do more to hurt her case, says Goldstein, because once Lohan puts herself on the stand, prosecutors can bring up anything and everything, including her past charges and convictions (two DUIs, assault, necklace theft, etc). "They would use the prior bad acts to impeach her credibility," explains the lawyer.
If Lohan is found guilty of any of the three current charges, her past bad behavior can also come back to bite her during sentencing. "The judge certainly can consider her past acts in deciding her sentence," says Goldstein, who adds that even if Lohan is found not guilty, the judge can still rule that the case violated her 2011 probation.
But would Lohan really face hard jail time? Because of the overcrowding in Los Angeles County, there’s a good chance that once again she could be released much sooner than her sentence requires. "All of her charges are misdemeanors," explains Goldstein, "so even if she were sentenced to jail time, she would likely be released very early. My answer would be different if she were sentenced to a felony. Serious or not, they are still all misdemeanor charges."

Lil Wayne 'recovering' in hospital after seizure  

 

Grammy-winning and multiplatinum-selling rapper Lil Wayne suffered a seizure and "is recovering," his record label's publicist said Friday.

"I'm good everybody," read a message on Lil Wayne's Twitter account. "Thnx for the prayers and love."

While acknowledging a medical issue, members of the New Orleans' artist's camp shot down reports that he was near death.

"Dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe ... that's false!!" tweeted Mack Maine, the president of Lil Wayne's Young Money label, around 5:20 p.m. (8:20 p.m. ET) Friday.

Sarah Cunningham, a publicist with the Young Money record label, acknowledged that Lil Wayne had a seizure.

The public relations department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Los Angeles hospital where the rapper is reportedly being treated, did not confirm or deny that Lil Wayne is there, per its policy.

Maine didn't offer much detail, though he did say that he and Lil Wayne had been watching the Syracuse University Orange play Georgetown in the Big East men's basketball tournament.

"Wayne is alive and well!" the record label president wrote on Twitter.

The rapper's independent publicist, Kia Selby, said only, "Lil Wayne is doing well." She strongly denied reports he was in a medically induced coma, as reported by TMZ.

Born Dwayne Carter, Lil Wayne is one of the rap world's most successful artists. He won best rap album for "Tha Carter III" at the 2008 Grammy awards, and took home three more Grammys the following year.

Beyond winning over critics, he's also been a commercial success. Last September, Billboard reported the rapper had tallied 109 hits on its Hot 100, surpassing the record previously held by Elvis Presley.

But he's also run into trouble outside the studio and stage.

Lil Wayne was arrested in 2007 outside New York City's Beacon Theater after police said they found a .40-caliber pistol on his tour bus. He ended up pleading guilty to felony gun charges and spending eight months at New York's Rikers Island jail.

 

 

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Split

   

 

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are "very, very much apart" at the moment.

The young stars got engaged in June 2012 but have been beset by problems over the last few weeks. There have been claims that Liam, 23, has struggled to cope with his 20-year-old fiancée's image overhaul, which has seen her bleach her hair blonde and shave most of it off.
There is also speculation that Liam was caught in a clinch with Mad Men star January Jones, while Miley was recently spotted without her engagement rings.
Liam is spending time in his native Australia at the moment and according to New York Post the pair are no longer in a relationship.
"Miley and Liam are done; it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him," an insider told the publication.
Another source added: "They have broken up before, and are broken up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye. And she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated.
"While Miley has insisted they are still together, right now they are very, very much apart."
Liam has been spending time with his brother Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky and daughter while in his home country.
Miley has been focusing on her music, something she promised to start doing on her Twitter page last week. After rumours about Liam and January reached fever pitch, she took to the social networking site to slam the speculation.
"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining," she wrote.
"my new music is gonna shut everyone up. not discussing anything but my music from now on (sic)."
Although Liam is thought to be taking some time out from the relationship, Miley is reportedly determined to make things work.
"Miley is a fiery character, and they do fight, but she is crazy about Liam. She isn’t ready to accept it might be over for good," a source explained.
Neither of the couple's representatives has commented on the report.
Miley and Liam met while shooting movie The Last Song together in 2009. They had an on/off relationship during 2010, before working out their differences and getting engaged.
Last year, Miley insisted she wasn't too young to be engaged but wasn't planning to tie the knot any time soon.
"I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement," she said.

Justin Bieber’s Terrible 2013 

 

This has not been Justin Bieber's year.

He probably had an idea that things were not going to go his way when he spent the end of 2012 reportedly ending things for good with his longtime on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez and being snubbed by the Grammys, and the very first week of the year brought two big scandals. Unfortunately for Biebs, it only got worse from there.
Here's a breakdown of what's played out so far - and keep in mind that there are still nine months left in 2013.
January 1: A paparazzo in pursuit of Bieber's white Ferrari (though, it turns out Bieber is not even in the car) is struck by another motorist and killed. Bieber issues a statement that his "thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim" and he hopes "this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation … to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves." Despite the public statement, there's speculation that Bieber is less than heartbroken by the tragic turn of events.
January 4: Pictures that show Bieber smoking what appears to be pot surface on the Internet, which is no small thing since so many kids look up to him. Not surprisingly, he responds in a series of Twitter messages that sound only kinda sorta regretful. "Everyday growing and learning. Trying to be better," he writes. Then, "Like I said... 2013... new challenges. New doubters... I'm ready. We are ready." Sure about that, Justin?
January 8: Two of Gomez's co-stars in the new movie "Spring Breakers," James Franco and Ashley Benson humiliate Bieber by posting a parody of his video for the song "Boyfriend," with Franco playing Biebs. Benson, who's known the Canadian crooner for years, later admits that she hears from Bieber, a close friend of her ex-boyfriend, about the clip. "He wasn't happy," Benson told Seventeen in March. "Justin is like my little brother since he and my ex are so close."

Early January: Internet pranksters use those photos posted of the increasingly tattooed Bieber's alleged drug use to start a viral campaign urging young primarily female fans to cut themselves in protest of his bad behavior. "Let's start a cut yourself for bieber campaign," someone posted on 4chan. "Tweet a bunch of pics of people cutting themselves and claim we did it because bieber was smoking weed. See if we can get some little girls to cut themselves." Real funny, right? Sadly, some people uploaded pics of themselves with slashed wrists (some fake).
January 23: Radio host Colette Harrington Schwoeri claims on her Facebook page that she had an unfriendly encounter with the pop star at the gym of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was on the Believe tour that began back in September. Harrington says that Bieber was rude and obnoxious, even cursing at her and spitting in her water bottle after she asked to take a photo with him.

January 30: Bieber, whose just released Believe Acoustic album features a song about Gomez, causes another scandal when he's photographed seeming to grope a fan's breast. This prompts him to return to his Twitter account with a message, "alot of bs has been out there lately...seems like it never stops. answering for myself thru music."
Another bummer for Bieber: TMZ reports that his friend Lil Twist, who frequently uses his rides, caused about $10,000 in damages to his white Ferrari by bottoming out at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Yikes!
February 5: What Bieber intended as a joke (hopefully?) just ends up seeming really, really creepy when he makes out with a mannequin on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." The talk show appearance came just before he played host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" that weekend where, like a good sport, he poked fun at himself.
February 10: The Biebs, who didn't receive any Grammy nominations, tried to divert attention away from the show by promising a live webcast just as the show kicked off. Unfortunately, a few too many people got excited and the website crashes.
Also on Grammy weekend, Bieber's fans become engaged in a Twitter feud with the award winning-group The Black Keys after the drummer seems to dis Bieber to TMZ, saying Bieber should be happy he has tons of money. The Biebs is not amused and writes that the drummer should be "slapped around." Oh, snap!
Late February: Details of a murder plot to kill Bieber go public. They reveal that inmates at a New Mexico prison to kill the "Beauty and the Beat" singer were quashed in December.
March 1: JBiebs has what he later called on Twitter the "worst birthday ever" when he leaves the club where his Circus-themed 19th birthday bash was being held because not all of his entourage were old enough to be admitted. London's Cirque Du Soir club turned away guests including 14-year-old Jaden Smith, Will Smith's son, and Bieber's rumored gal pal Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke, although Bieber beat Britian's 18-and-over drinking law by a year.

March 5: Bieber reportedly hits the stage for his London concert two hours late, although he later claims that it's less than half that time. Still, the delay causes angry fans (who booed the Biebs!) and parents. He apologizes for his tardiness later, although he also goes on a rant about made top stories. The next night, he's two minutes early for his performance.
March 7: While Lil Twist continues to wreak havoc on Bieber's cars stateside, he puts on a third concert when something off happens. After he has problems breathing and then faints onstage, he leaves the stage for about 20 minutes, but returns to finish the set. He heads to the hospital afterward, although within hours he assures Beliebers that he's feeling better by posting a pic of himself recovering shirtless on Instagram.
March 8: Bieber attacks! The teen is videotaped confronting a mob of paparazzi with some pretty choice words, and had to be restrained by a bodyguard when he lunged at the group.

March 10: The star cancels the second of two performance scheduled for Portugal on March 12 due to "unforeseen circumstances," a rep said in a statement. "The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11."

Justin Timberlake Subliminally Shoots Back At Kanye West On SNL Changing Lyrics To Song "Suit And Tie" With Jay-Z 
 
Justin Timberlake may have served up the smoothest diss ever to Kanye West during his "Saturday Night Live" performance.
Last month during a show in London, West went on a freestyle rant and brought up Timberlake's collaboration with Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie," saying, "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f--kin' with that 'Suit & Tie.'"
On Saturday night, Timberlake appeared to subtly respond to West's rant by switching up his lyrics a bit, TMZ notes. While performing "Suit & Tie," Timberlake changed the lyric "Shit so sick got a hit and picked up a habit" to "My hit's so sick got rappers acting dramatic."
Later, Jay-Z came out to join him on "Suit & Tie." For his second song, the Tennessee native performed the follow-up single, "Mirrors," off his "20/20 Project" album, due out March 19.
Maybe it's all just a case of jealousy?
West's diss came after Timberlake and Jay-Z dropped the "Suit & Tie" single, performed together at the Grammys and announced their 12-date Legends of the Summer tour. In 2011, it was West who was touring with Jay-Z following the release of "Watch the Throne." He didn't make an appearance at the Grammys, saying during his rant, "The Grammys can suck my d**k."
Plus, Timberlake's wife Jessica Biel looked pretty chummy with Beyonce at the February awards show. But West's girlfriend and baby mama, Kim Kardashian, can't seem to fall into favor with Jay-Z's better half.

The annual South by Southwest (aka SXSW) festival packs Austin, Texas, with creative types from around the country to showcase the best in art, music, and film – which means Hollywood is in the house.

The ladies (and gentleman) of "Spring Breakers" Opening weekend of the festival serves as the film portion of the program, which means big premieres. Director Harmony Korine will use SXSW to stage the U.S. premiere of "Breakers, " starring James Franco, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Benson.
A hunk of "True Blood" Indie darling Brit Marling's wrote the buzzed-about "The East," a film about a group of anarchists targeting major corporations. Cast members Ellen Page, Alexander Skarsgard, and Shiloh Fernandez will hit town to talk it up.
Magic Men Steve Carrell begins the long road to promoting the Vegas magician-themed "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," co-starring Jim Carrey, Steve Buscemi, and Olivia Wilde.
Fashion Fans There's always a stylish fringe element at major festivals, and the Austin edge is bringing out "Parenthood" actress Joy Bryant. She'll host cocktails with denim makers True Religion and Elle magazine, with a special performance from DJ Mia Moretti and hip hop violinist Caitlin Moe.
Music will present the perfectly described synthpop gods Depeche Mode at an exclusive concert event on Tuesday.
Funny people Sarah Silverman and a slew of comedians are using SXSW to launch JASH, a new YouTube channel and content platform. Silverman, actor Michael Cera, and comedy duo Tim and Eric will host a barbecue brunch on Sunday to celebrate. Sketch comedy house Upright Citizens Brigade will also host a pop-up with several nights of shows, featuring founding member Matt Besser.
Save a horse It's not just big names headed down south, its Hollywood creature comforts as well. High-end taxi service Uber will bring its towncars and SUVs to the festival streets, and even offer pedicabs.

Rihanna: My Mom Yelled at Me Over Naked Instagram Pictures

Even superstar Rihanna can't escape a mother's wrath.

The 25-year-old singer tells Elle U.K. that her mom had some choice words for her over a few racy Instagram posts.
"I'm not afraid of any person in this world but my mother, I'm terrified of her!" Rihanna told the magazine. "She called me two days ago and reeled me in about two naked pictures [my friend] Melissa put up on Instagram, a sneak peek from a photo book she's making about me."
Rihanna's Instagram topics of choice typically tend to be Chris Brown, smoking weed, or showing off her, um, assets, but apparently it's the nudity that gets her mom worked up.
"She went crazy on me, I was like, embarrassed," she continued. "I felt like I got my a-- whipped in front of my class at school! She humbled the f--k out of me."
Just this week the "Stay" singer uploaded a provocative photo showing off her new Prada boots, but the focus wasn't exactly on her new heels since RiRi wasn't wearing any pants or a top.
"Gotcha bitch tip toeing on my marble flo'!!!" she wrote. "Sick ass custom Prada boots! Miuccia you RULE!!! Thank you."

 

Lil’ Kim Blasts Media and New Face Rumors

 
 A few weeks ago  Lil' Kim made headlines when she stepped out looking…different. Gossip site MediaTakeOut wrote this week that the Grammy award winning artist was “physically distorted” and posted a shocking photo that the rapper is now saying was completely edited.
“Years & years they have been photoshopping pics of me & sabotaging my image. I'm not putting up with that s--t no more,” Lil’ Kim posted on Twitter. “All they have been proving is im THAT bitch with or without an album out & they always want to attack & bring down the real ones.”
Continued the self proclaimed Queen Bee:
“Today was the last straw. You saw me on TV, people were posting pics all day... None of them looked the way that fake picture looked.”
“Here is a side by side that shows the s--t they did & a few more raw, unedited pics. You guys f--ked it up for all the Paps. F--k outta here,” Kim tweeted along with this photo. “None of y'all Paps is getting a pic now.”
Back in early February Lil’ Kim stepped out looking unrecognizable sparking plastic surgery rumors.

Kanye West Not Happy About #7 Spot On MTV's Hottest MCs In The Game List

  

MTV has been running down their 2013 "Hottest MCs in the Game" list over the last several days, and Kanye West was ranked at #7, a position the hip-hop superstar isn't very happy with.
'Ye called into Hot 97 this week, blasting MTV for his placement on the list while offering his opinion as to who should top the list.
"Number 7 bothers me," he admitted. "I think that [Lil] Wayne is the number one rapper in the world.
"For me I feel that in order for them to put me as #7, they had to bring up things that they didn't like," Kanye continued. "That's a compilation. It ain't all rappers on G.O.O.D. Music. got 'Don't Like (Remix),' 'Mercy,' 'Cold,' 'New God Flow' all on one joint, you know. And 'Clique,' and 'Clique!' You can't name five records like that on no album. But they wanna diss me and be like, 'He did Cruel Summer and he can't say he ain't part of it 'cause he's on eight records...' Like they wanna try to -- ain't nobody bringin' up that 'Diamonds' remix verse. There wasn't no verse in a year that's f***in' with that verse. It's definitely not based on a body of work, but possibly could just be overall rap, MC swag."
As far as his G.O.O.D. Music protege Big Sean coming in at #6, Ye said: "I'm happy for Sean, but I feel like he should be on top 5. He's bodying records, like the way he started off that 'Mercy.'"
Despite Kanye's critique, Sean was happy with his placement on the list, tweeting, "Wow thanks to @MTV 4 saying I was a star on Cruel Summer n My Detroit mixtape n features were crazy last year. #6 hottest MC is awesome."

Justin Bieber Makes Late Return to London Stage After Fainting

  

There was no TGIF for Justin Bieber.

Friday began with a screaming match with a paparazzo outside his London hotel – during which his security guard had to physically restrain him as he yelled, “I’ll f**king beat the f**k out of you!” – and ended with his final concert at the O2 Arena … for which he was once again, late.
But luckily for his young fans, this time Bieber was only fashionably so.
Although the “Beauty and a Beat” singer was scheduled to hit the stage at 9 p.m., by six minutes after the hour, BBC 1 Radio disc jockey Scott Mills, who attended the concert, tweeted, “He's late. Again.” A few minutes later, he sent another update. “Come on bieber. We are on a countdown. 8 mins now. Snore.”

Eventually, the pop star made it to the stage, and according to Mills, it was worth the (brief) wait. “Did an awesome show,” he tweeted nearly two hours later. “Whatever you think of him, he is a very good Popstar.”
Just 24 hours earlier, some had thought he might not be able to perform at all on Friday. During Thursday’s concert, he had to halt the show for 20 minutes after he suffered shortness of breath and fainted during his performance. After being administered oxygen backstage, Bieber continued the show, but did check into a hospital afterwards for observation. Still, he was well enough to tweet a shirtless photo of himself as he convalesced.

On Monday night, the first of his four-concert gig at the O2 Arena, Bieber reportedly had fans waiting for nearly two hours. And when he finally did hit the stage, the 19-year-old was met with boos from the fans who were still there. According to reports, many youngsters had already fallen asleep, while others were in tears because they had to go home since it was a school night.
While Bieber may be happy to leave the U.K., things aren’t going much better for him in the States. On Tuesday, his friend Lil Twist reportedly crashed the singer’s $100,000 Fisker Karma sports car into a cement pole at a liquor store in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley … and then fled the scene.

Why Demi Moore Stands to Profit From Her Divorce From Ashton Kutcher

 Demi Moore was once a massive movie star, so the news that she's seeking spousal support from Ashton Kutcher in their divorce was surprising.

But it shouldn't be. The 50-year-old actress, who starred in '90s blockbusters like "Ghost," "A Few Good Men," and "Indecent Proposal," now earns a lot less than her ex.
Dorothy Pomerantz, who keeps tabs on the richest and most influential celebrities for Forbes magazine, tells omg! Moore makes only a fraction of what Kutcher makes, thanks to residuals from his past TV and movie work, investments in tech companies and other ventures, and, of course, his hit CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men." In fact, she gave Kutcher the top spot in her list of the highest-paid TV actors last October, estimating that the 35-year-old brought in $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012.
For Moore, whose recent projects include playing Miley Cyrus' mom in the straight-to-DVD "LOL," the annual paycheck is still in the millions, but definitely in the single digits.

"Most of her money is still coming from residuals [from earlier movie and TV work]," Pomerantz says. "So I think she's lucky if she's bringing in $3 million to $5 million a year." She adds that some of that money comes from endorsement deals, such as Moore's recent one with Ann Taylor, and almost certainly, her 2000 divorce settlement with Bruce Willis, where she reportedly walked away with $90 million. (Moore and Willis share three daughters, although she and Kutcher do not have children.)
Even when Moore and the 15 years-younger Kutcher tied the knot in 2005, Moore had a lower earning potential. Already past what Hollywood considers a woman's prime age for moviemaking, Moore appeared in fewer and smaller movies in smaller roles.
Her intentions to seek support were revealed when she filed a document in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday in response to Kutcher's filing for divorce in December. However, she was the one who announced in November 2011 that the once Twitter-obsessed couple would be calling it quits, not longer after rumors began to swirl that he had strayed. Whether or not Kutcher cheated, though, won't matter when it comes to California law, where divorcing spouses are entitled to half of the wealth that the other person accumulates during the marriage. (Unless of course, there's a prenuptial agreement, which would trump everything.)

Attorney Fred Silberberg, a certified family law specialist with an office in Beverly Hills, California, says details of a divorce settlement will be hard to come by unless one of the sides wants them known.
"In a case like this, I wouldn't expect that we would ever really know what they've agreed upon because what most people do in these high-profile cases — myself included — is to do two separate documents," Silberberg said. "One a very rudimentary document that gets filed with the court because that's what's accessible to the public and then a more detailed document between the two of them that only comes into play in court if somebody breaches one of the terms of it. And that way they'll keep whatever the terms of the settlement are [private]."
However, New York trial lawyer Barry Slotnick, who's worked on celebrity divorce cases such as that of Oscar winning-actor Anthony Quinn, predicts that the details of this celebrity divorce will be very public.
"There will be no secrets kept by the time this is over," Slotnick says. "She will get a good amount of money for her spousal support."

Beyonce Shares Steamy Snaps on Tumblr

      

One thing is for sure: Beyonce is keeping her fans on their toes.
Last week, the 31-year-old superstar was working hard at a construction site, driving a forklift, and posing for pics in a hard hat. This week she’s back at it, but things are getting a little steamy!
The “Single Ladies” songbird posted new snapshots to her Tumblr account, including pics of the hot mama emerging from the steam at a deserted site with warehouses in the background. The mysterious locale may actually be a rehearsal space for her sold-out Mrs. Carter world tour, which kicks off in Belgrade, Serbia, on April 15. Beyonce hard at work! (Tumblr)
Queen Bey’s look in the photos is more “street” than her previous Mrs. Carter promo shoots, which showed her rocking a blond wig and short shorts. Here, she’s keeping it casual in hip wedge sneakers, black jeans, a puffer vest and a black baseball cap emblazoned with the word, “Beyond.” Maybe she’s starting to steal some style tricks from her hubby … since this latest look is a little more Jay than Bey.
Other than the few snaps she’s been sharing, details on her tour are still few and far between. But, in true Beyonce fashion, we’re guessing these photos are dropping a couple of hints … that her tour will be beyond our expectations and steamier than her Super Bowl performance.

Kylie Jenner Has Dinner Date with Jaden Smith ... and Dad Will!

 

 

 Young love is in the air! Jaden Smith, 14, is reportedly dating Kim Kardashian's half-sister Kylie Jenner, 15, a source close to the new couple.

The Karate Kid star, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and the reality starlet have reportedly been "friends forever," but are now taking their friendship to the next level. "They're dating," the source confirms.

The pair were recently spotted dining together in London, where Smith was attending Justin Bieber's birthday party. The party was cut short, however, when Bieber's entourage got into an argument with club security over some of the "Boyfriend" singer's underage guests, including Smith.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who rocks the long, brunette mane made famous by her elder half-sisters, reportedly dated Australian pop star Cody Simpson. Interestingly, Smith was previously linked to Kylie's sister Kendall Jenner, though the pair always maintained they were just friends.
