50 Cent Won't Put Out Album 'Without A Plan'

'I don't really need the money off of the record. Fif tells news about the delay in releasing his fifth solo LP.

It's been almost four years since 50 Cent last dropped a solo LP, and the G-Unit juggernaut is in no rush to do it.
"I don't really need the money off of the record. I want the record to be right. I'm not doing it without a plan; I'm not putting it out like that," 50 told MTV News about his long-awaited fifth studio album.
The multiplatinum rap king points to his label Interscope and says he won't make a move until the record company is ready. "It's a lot of staff changes, a lot of different people moving in and moving out, so you got to kind of wait until everything's right; until it's settled in," he reasoned.
50 likens himself to a basketball player with dominant skills but less team support — someone akin to Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant maybe? "I've been on a team where I take the ball out and throw myself the alley-oop, and I take the ball out and shoot the three-pointer myself, and I take the ball out and I dunk the ball," he said, driving home the analogy.
That's not to suggest that 50 hasn't been releasing music the past few years — he's actually been quite active. After dropping Before I Self Destruct in November 2009, he's dropped two mixtapes (The Big 10, The Lost Tape and 5 (Murder by Numbers)) as well as a number of singles like "My Life" with Eminem and Adam Levine, "Major Distribution" and his most recent, "We Up" with Kendrick Lamar.
In the case of "We Up," 50 was just positive that the record would be a hit, but since its release in May, it has largely remained an underground favorite. "I know it ain't my ear [because] Kendrick said the same thing I said when I sent it to him, 'Oh this is a hit.' And everybody said the same thing," he said before surmising that the market is currently oversaturated with rap music. "I think it comes from so much stuff being in front of people."

Demi Lovato's Formula For Her 'Pretty Epic' Supergroup Revealed!

Singer thinks a team-up with Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift would be 'epic,' and we agree.

Demi Lovato doesn't really need any help from her friends when it comes to her bustling music career, but she knows exactly who she'd call on if she did want to put together a girl-power supergroup.
"It would never happen, but I'd form a group featuring me, Miley [Cyrus], Selena [Gomez] and Taylor [Swift]," she told The Guardian. "That would be pretty epic."
That idea sounds rather intriguing to us here at MTV News, even if it may fall into the realm of the impossible. However, we'd pay a pretty penny to see that fierce foursome team up and take on the world together. So, we decided to indulge in the fantasy and imagine just what it might be like if they did all get together.
Shut Down Twitter
All four ladies have very varied Twitter philosophies, so should they combine their respective feeds into one account, the entire Internet just might melt in the best possible way. Between Swift's love of tweets about cats, Miley's frank confessions, Selena's candid behind-the-scenes moments and Demi's inspiring messages, we would be constantly refreshing the feed to read what's next.Girls Run The World (Tour)
We'd imagine that every bit of ink shed about this prospective jaunt would include the word "spectacle." The over-the-top costumes, catchy tunes and bang-for-your-buck staging would amount to a non-stop feast for the eyes. And, we just hope someone is taking Vines and Instagrams of every one of their backstage hangout sessions, which we assume would be like attending the best sleepover of all time.
Mash-Ups
These ladies have amassed some jams over the years, so could you imagine if they mashed up some of their choice cuts? What if Selena and Miley busted out "Come & Get It (The '7 Things' Remix)" or Demi and Swift went for a "Give Your Heart ... Trouble" combo? And don't even get us started on what would happen when Demi and Miley got all patriotic with "Made in the USA"/"Party in the U.S.A."
Paging The Fashion Police!
A closet filled with clothes pooled together by these four seems like a fashionista's dream — glamorous party dresses, turnt-up party clothes, boho chic garments and shimmering couture. And that's just what'd they'd rock on the tour bus.

Miley Cyrus Rocks Her Engagement Rock On 'We Can't Stop' Set

MC tweets '#thecountdownisreal' ahead of single's release on Monday and shuts down breakup rumors with new video set photos.

Miley Cyrus and Mike Will on the set of "We Can't Stop"

After announcing her new single, "We Can't Stop," earlier this month on the Billboard Music Awards, Miley Cyrus is now just days away from dropping the release on Monday. But before Smilers even get to hear a word of the song, they got a glimpse of the music video.
In new photos from the "We Can't Stop" set, Miley wears lots of gold necklaces and a white cropped top. She even shared a pic of her with the song's producer, Mike Will Made It, on the Los Angeles set. She tweeted about the shoot, "#eardruma @MikeWiLLMadeIt #wecantstop #thecountdownisreal."
Also noticeable in one of the pictures is Cyrus' engagement ring, which seems to shut down the most recent round of speculation that she had called off her engagement to "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth.
The latest breakup rumors were first reported by Us Weekly on Wednesday, with a source telling the magazine, "They are definitely over." But multiple sources refuted that, including an insider who told E! "It's been rocky, but they are hanging in there."
E! also reported that in addition to the "We Can't Stop" video, Cyrus recently shot the clip for her will.i.am collaboration, "Fall Down." And she appears in the just-dropped video for her Snoop Lion duet, "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks."
Cyrus will premiere "We Can't Stop" on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Monday, June 3. She debuted the party-themed artwork for the single in Times Square earlier this week.

LeAnn Rimes: ‘People Think That I Serve Coffee In a Bikini’

If a comedy about the life of LeAnn Rimes ends up on the air, expect a bikini to play a prominent part.

The "How Do I Live" singer, who recently revealed that she and hubby Eddie Cibrian are developing a scripted comedy for TV, tells omg! that the project will poke fun at the way the two are perceived. And for Rimes, that means a woman who shows off her beach body - even when she's far from the beach.
"I mean, people think that I serve coffee in a bikini!" Rimes says with a laugh. "I might as well serve it in it, just for the hell of it! To me it's hysterical that people think I walk around in a bikini 24/7."
The 30-year-old even posted a pic of herself clad in a barely-there bathing suit when she took over omg!’s Instagram account this week. (To be fair, Rimes has put photos of herself in beachwear online.)
But a lot of other claims have little basis, Rimes says, and she doesn't have any reservations about putting a fictionalized version of her life on TV.
"People are writing such [personal] stories about me, which are completely not true," she insists. "All of my private life they're making into something that's not even a part of my life … So to write an album like I did or to put things out that are positive about my life, it doesn't seem like there's a risk involved. If my private life was actually private, maybe there would be a bigger risk in that. But when you talk about doing a scripted show, it's really taking everything that everyone thinks they know about us and actually poking fun at it, and having fun with the things that people have written."
Rimes and Cibrian, whom she married in April 2011, have learned to take the reports lightly. "It's been quite annoying the things that people have written for a while, and now we've started to laugh at it,” explains Rimes, whose latest album comes out on Tuesday. “This way, we can actually show that we have fun with this stuff, because it's hysterical and outlandish. It gives us a chance to poke fun at ourselves, which we do all the time and no one sees."

Besides, the singer says she doesn't really allow the negative comments to bring her down anymore. She doesn't even see most of them, even though she uses social media multiple times a day.
"A few negative comments will come in a day, but a lot of the same people make comments over and over again and the block button gets pressed, because I choose not to see it," Rimes shares.
"I enjoy being on [social media] with my fans. And it can be a very positive thing as long as you keep it that way. I bite my tongue a lot and sometimes I'll even write things that are racy," she admits. "I've really learned not to let it get to me, and to have a tough skin with it."
Skin that she's quite comfortable showing.

Why Kanye Didn't Want to Attend Kim's Baby Shower

Kim Kardashian's much-anticipated baby shower is happening on Sunday, and the big question has been: Will Kanye attend?
"Kanye said he feels like it's weird for him to be the only guy," Khloe Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest Friday on his morning KIIS-FM show. But she said Kourtney Kardashian's beau, Scott Disick, and Khloe Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, might bring Kanye at the end.
But one male who was invited for the entirety? Kim and Khloe's brother Rob. "He's, like, left out of all this stuff, so I said come the whole time," said Khloe. "I don't know if he is."
Sunday is a big day for the family. Not only will it be celebrating Kim's baby, which is due in a month or so, but it also marks the premiere of its E! reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," in which the baby's sex will be revealed. Just don't be surprised when Kanye West isn't in that scene.
"The baby was always in a position where you couldn't tell the sex, and this time that you're going to see on the show, [Kanye] was in London or Paris," Khloe explained. "He had a concert."
And while fans of the family are eagerly anticipating Kim's bundle of joy, her mother, Kris Jenner, admits to feeling jittery.
"I'm really just nervous about Kim giving birth and getting through this whole baby thing," she told Seacrest. "I'm excited and anxious at the same time."

Amanda Bynes Claims Sexual Harassment By Cops http://l.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/.7KngcF39a1H2w0Putk45g--/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7aD0zNTU7cT04NTtzbT0xO3c9NjMw/http://media.zenfs.com/en_US/News/ETOnline/bynes_topless_pic_640x360.jpg

After being released on her own recognizance following a late-night arrest in New York City, Amanda Bynes took to Twitter to speak directly to the world.
"I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs. I've never had a bong in my life! I need to get another nose job after seeing my mugshot," she wrote.
A few hours later Bynes Tweeted, "I need Nicki Minaj's wig person stat!"
On Saturday, she Tweeted some serious allegations, claiming she had been sexually harassed by one of her arresting officers: "Don't believe the reports about me being arrested. It's all lies. I was sexually harassed by one of the cops two nights ago which is who then arrested me. He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal. I then called the cops on him. He handcuffed me, which I resisted, quite unlike any of the reports stated. Then I was sent to a mental hospital. Offensive. I kept asking for my lawyer but they wouldn't let me. The cops were creepy. The cop sexually harassed me, they found no pot on me or bong outside my window. That's why the judge let me go. Don't believe any reports."
Bynes, who is currently under probation for driving with a suspended license and has a pending DUI case stemming from a 2012 arrest, was arrested late Thursday night after police were called to her apartment in NYC.
